Life lay spread out before the eyes
like visions through a kaleidoscope.
Mirthful moments, dreamy memories,
life on a platter, forever vernal.
Pieces of glass shift their axis;
changing landscapes, shifting patterns,
giant waves crash against the rocks,
an endless churning; the bits never settle.

@RainCrab-Sometimes can't help viewing the world only with reference to us. We are entitled to the luxury of selfishness once in a while, I guess :)
@ Shafi-yes, definitely, but can be a little disorienting too. Not everyone has a saintly mindset to accept things as they come and remain passive-atleast not me!
