TIME

Time gallops at a blinding pace
            who knows where it will stop?
Neither have we the reins in our hands
            nor our feet in the stirrups

Youth has vanished but
            we remain unaware
We search eternally for it
            our backs doubled with age

May be not-knowing your outlook towards life, I'm sure you wouldn't. Someone commented the other day that from the stuff I write anyone would think that I already have a foot in the grave :D

Ramesh, Thank you.
Not bad I managed to scare you. Wonder if its actually the fear of the unknown rather than loss of youth. To think that we've lived life to the maximum is a soothing feeling.

So living life to the max means getting old???? I thought its making the max use/fun of every moment such that ur ages are both joyful and productive on the whole... Lol! I finally defined it!!!

Everyone wants to travel by time machine backwords to reach to the yonder years! But I should say that now 40s are considered young turks!

@ajay-thx for the definition :)

@rain crab-I've managed to scare quite a few ppl with this post :D

@Benny-never knew u had a serious side to u :)

@subu-that's very true-the search for eternal youth never ends. But then age is in the mind I guess.
